Depart for Agra, home of the
TajMahal, built in 1630 by Shah Jahan to
enshrine the remains of is beloved wife Queen Mumtaz Mahal.

|
Full day sightseeing with
visit to the Taj Mahal, the Agra Fort and if time allows to
Itmad-ud-Daulah’s tomb, another fine example of Islamic
architecture and garden design(charbagh).

Feb 25
|
Drive to Bharatpur via the red
sandstone city of Fatehpur Sikri built by
Emperor Akbar in 1569 and, abandoned 15 years later for lack
of water.
Tonight you stay at the Laxmi Vilas Palace. In the
afternoon, enjoy a
cycle rickshaw ride through the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary.

Depart for Jaipur, the Pink
City and capital of the colorful state of
Rajashtan. This ride gives you ample opportunities to
witness India’s
village life and brightly colored yellow mustard fields.

Today’s sightseeing includes
an elephant ride up to Amber Fort, Hawa
Mahal, Astronomical Observatory and Sisodia Rani ka Bagh
Garden.

A short flight will take you
to Jodhpur, famous for the magnificent
Mehrangarh Fort, Mandore Garden and Jaswant Thada.

Sightseeing of Jodhpur with a
special horse-cart ride to downtown Jodhpur!

Your drive takes you via
Ranakpur to see the amazing Jain temple complex built in
1439. If possible stop at the Maharani Bagh Orhard
Retreat. Arrive Udaipur in the evening.

Shikarbadi Palace with its Deer Park and well-maintained
grounds, City Palace visit Jagdish Temple and
Sahelion-ki-Bari (garden of the maidens), and an evening
